Power Control Centre
KRYPTON is the leading manufacture of PCC Panels (Power Control Centre) in India, which are used for diverse industrial applications and provide reliable and effective service. These panels are manufactured as per client’s specifications and requirements which very well meet with the industry demands.

Power Control Centre is considered to be the heart of an electrical system in any industry. Therefore, it shall  offer users long term reliability, safety, low maintenance & testing time.

At Krypton we offers state of art PCC panels, manufactured with latest engineering practices considering all the safety factors. Our PCC are tested from CPRI Bhopal, for 50KA Fault Level and relevant Temperature rise.
Power Control Centre

Construction

Incoming ACB Compartment are in Single Tier construction and outgoing ACB compartments are in 2 tier construction up to 1600A and above that it is in single Tier construction. . Ample space is provided for cable/ Bus Duct Termination. Our PCC are suitably designed for cable/ duct entry from Top / Bottom of the Panels.

Back Side of the ACB Compartments are completely shrouded with Acrylic cover, it protects the workman from Direct access to live Bus Bar and also enable to Inspect the Termination for Loose Connection and Temperature Rise, without switching off the main supply.

Our PCC Panel are Cubical Construction made of CRCA, Sheet Steel. Sheet Steel thickness is generally 2.0/1.6mm but facilities for making PCC with higher thickness are also available.

Special quality of gaskets are used for doors and covers to make the Panel fully dust and vermin proof.

Panel in special construction for outdoor applicable are also made .

Cable Alleys in all cubical Panels have ample widths and spacing so that cables can be easily terminated. Cable entry can be from top and / or from bottom of the Panel. Undrilled removable cable gland plates are provided. Non magnetic gland plates are provided for single core cables on specific customer demand. Bus trunking flanges on Top or Bottom of panels are also provided in place of gland plates for bus duct connections.

COMPARTMENTS

Panels are generally in compartmentalized construction. Each compartment is provided with hinged doors. Sheet metal/ Bakelite barriers are provided between compartments, busbar chamber and cable alley to make the panels fully compartmentalized.

BUS BAR CHAMBER AND CABLE ALLEY

Electrolytic Aluminum Flats/Bars of E-91E grade and/or Electrolytic copper Flats/Bars of 99.9% purity are used for bus bars. Bus Bars are designed for fault levels up to 50KA r. m. s. for one second. All bus bars are provided with colour coded  heat shrinkable type PVC sleeves

Bus bar supports are non hygroscopic SMC/DMC moulded and are specially designed for long creapage distance and strong enough to withstand electro mechanical forces during fault conditions.

Bus bar chambers are amply sized and suitably designed for heat dissipation.

Cable chambers are provided with ample space and are suitable for cable or Bus duct entry from top and / or bottom as per the site conditions.

Testing

All type of Panels manufactured at the factory are subjected to routine tests as per BIS/IEC standards and test certificates are provided.
Krypton Panels are type tested as per BIS/IEC specifications from C P R I, Bhopal (Central Power Research Institute) for
  • Short Circuit Fault level for 50KA r. m. s. for 1 Second.
  • Temperature Rise Test.
Copies of these type test certificates are available.

PAINTING

PCC are painted with Powder Coating Process after Pretreatment with 7 tank process for Derusting, Degreasing, Phostphating & Pascivasion . Generally Paint shade of RAL-7035 is used, However , Paint shade of customer choice can also be provided.
